Visit a hydroelectric generating station and discover one of the oldest Hydro Quebec installations in use today. You can also follow the main stages in the production of electricity all the while enjoying the attractions of a walk in nature.

Dating from 1916, the complex was put back into service in 1999 after a halt of 15 years as a result of a partnership between Hydro Quebec and the Municipality of Saint-Ferreol-les-Neiges.

Whether it is the biggest hydroelectric generating station in Quebec ; La Grande 2 (LG2) located in Northern Quebec, or the Sept-Chutes station, the process of producing electricity is the same.

However, to get the equivalent electrical output to La Grande 2 would take 265 small stations like "Les Sept-Chutes".
